The information below is to assist with your wallpaper purchase and hopefully answer any questions that you have. First and foremost, we strongly recommend purchasing one of our wallpaper samples to ensure the color and pattern are what you are expecting prior to purchasing the full rolls. The samples are $4 for a 8" by 10" piece. You can click here to purchase the wallpaper samples. Please note, the wallpaper samples are non-returnable and non-refundable.
A professional installer should be able to help measure the space. The wallpaper is sold in a double roll that is 27" x 288" that covers approximately 54 square feet. The unpasted wallpaper is a vertical repeat of 25.583" that is a straight match. To calculate the square footage of your space, take the height by the width of your wall in inches and divide by 144 (which is the total inches of one square foot).
It is recommended you purchase more rolls than necessary to complete your order. This practice is referred to as overage. The extra roll(s) will allow for any errors in measurements or installation. This also ensures that the color will be part of the same run and a match to the other paper that you have. Finally, an additional roll or rolls to store long-term and be kept as "attic stock" is recommended for any later repairs or fixes.
We highly recommend hiring a professional wallpaper installer. Many errors with wallpaper hanging and installation are due to inexperienced do-it-yourselfers. Our wallpaper is a Final Sale item and cannot be returned unless unopened and in original packaging. Unopened wallpaper rolls in their original condition may be returned within 14 days of receipt for a full refund, less the original shipping cost. Wallpaper samples are not returnable.
Please check with a professional wallpaper installer before ordering to provide you with exact quantities required. Peruvian Connection is not liable for incorrect quantities ordered.
Defective or damaged wallpaper must be reported immediately, prior to cutting the wallpaper, by calling Customer Service at (800)221.8520. Claims must be made within 14 days of receipt. Liability will not exceed the invoiced value of the product. Peruvian Connection is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, financial, or other losses or exemplary damages.
CLEANING & CARE
Professional installers should help provide additional information on cleaning and care.
Light dirt and smudges can be removed with a mild soap and warm water solution. Start with a test in an inconspicuous location such as a bottom corner to confirm the surface will not damage. Clean from the bottom of the wall, moving upward. Gently rinse with clean water from the top down using a clean sponge. Dry wallcovering with a soft lint free cloth or towel. Do not use any abrasive cleaners such as steel wool or powdered abrasive as they will damage the image and/or surface. Do not use any cleaners other than mild soap, including but not limited to: solvents, alcohol, pine oil, simple green, commercial or residential cleaners as they will damage the surface of the wallcovering. When cleaning, always take measures to prevent water from dripping behind molding.
