Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still love it... Unique look! I love the coat because of its uniqueness, however, there are some drawbacks: 1) the color - I was lucky, mine was dark green, but they used black dye under the green, rather than that beautiful dark teal color like in the photo, 2) the buttons - though interesting, are not quality & not sewn well. 3) Not sized roomy enough to wear with heavier clothing. LOVES: 1) the fit is appropriately sized, 2) the lightness of it & how soft, supple it is, 3) & I still love the green leather!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sooo nice!!! Gorgeous green color, personally find the *color shade* true to the photos as well as the dimensional aspect of the distressing. Examining the photos carefully, the coat matches the description "distressed for a vintage patina" and mine looks exactly as shown. I prefer comfort, wear a small in PC, ordered size 4, perfect! Highly detailed, love the elbow seams! I'd say medium warmth leather, not heavy. Very pleased with every aspect of this unique and lovely coat, simply love it!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredibly Light Weight but More Gray than Green I am 5'4 (163.5cm) tall and wear size 2 in most Peruvian Connection items (like dresses) and 25" jeans. After reading other reviews, I initially went 1 size bigger, but after consulting customer service, decided to go for my actual size, (size 2) and had customer service cancel the size 4 for me. (They were wonderful and quick about it; no fuss!) The arm is not roomy, but then again, it feels warm enough that a light weight cashmere or alpaca knit would suffice under this coat, so I am not worried about how it will layer. Rather, the arm hole is cut in a modern way in that it definitely makes me look sharp and modern, not frumpy. Peruvian Connection obviously understands the importance of having just the right cut to make the difference between a daggy coat and a stylish one. I was delightfully surprised that it is a VERY LIGHT coat! I had purchased a full length leather trench from Peruvian Connection before, but it was REALLY HEAVY. This coat is SO LIGHT, it feels more like a leather jacket than a coat. As I wrote in the title, maybe it is just me, but I feel the colour is more gray than green. The engineering is well done, and I love the way the collar sits properly - a sign of a good pattern and superb engineering. The distressed process makes the leather look rather dry at first, but the beauty of leather is that it will become more supple and shiny with wear, so I am really looking forward to wearing it in, though the leather is so soft already that I am sure it won't take long to "break it in."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As good as expected, if not better! This coat is great. It looks elegant and fits superbly. My only grouse is that it needed time to recuperate after shipping (collar had curled at corners) and one of the buttons was barely sewn on.. Apart from that, it's likely to become a favourite (if the rain ever goes away!)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from V DISAPPOINTED Very disappointed with this coat! Love the style and colour in catalogue BUT sizing way out. I am normally size12 but ordered 14 cos of other reviews/ too tight exchanged for 16 and fitted just. V distressed nothing like colour in cat/lightweight and in my opinion not worth the money even on sale!!!Shame it could be a great coat

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Coolest coat you'll ever own! Agree with Alfie that the finish is poor. As I tried the coat on a button fell off and a buckle keeper broke! I hope it's sewn together well because I love it! It would be good if someone could wake up the quality control department but I will live with it given that this is the coolest coat imaginable and I could look for years without finding anything half as good. p.s order a size up - it's very snug.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Waited to buy this coat just for the color/design and hesitated only because of previous so-so reviews + price. I always order coats 1-2 sizes larger, and I finally ordered a 10 (1 size larger) fits perfectly, room for sweater. If you want a bluish green, teal, do not order. Photos are actually very accurate. Love this coat. Call 1-800#, if you ever have Qs about true color/size/fit, they are very helpful.
