Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just what I wanted I disagree with the review that indicated so many things wrong with this dress. I, on the other hand, was delighted with the dress. I am a knitter and crocheter and found the workmanship was spectacular. One just should know that because of its intricacies it requires careful handling when putting it on or off. I love the way it fits and looks.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Third review I finally wore this dress for Christmas Eve Dinner. When I put it on again for New Year Eve Party I incidently noticed that my right arm "did not look right"...THERE WAS A HOLE AND RUNNING TREADS. I travel now with 3 crotchet hooks, so I was able to fix it. I did not "touch anything" during the dinner that could cause it. Once again this dress is very I mean VERY POORLY secured. Also, after wearing this dress twice I noticed pilling of the material. I have important question for PC. Why to even bother offering crotchet items (that are incredible works of art) when unable to find high quality material and workers that know how to finish and secure their beautiful works of art from constantly running treads creating new and new holes each time the dress is put on. I have no jewerly and I am very careful when I put this dress on!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it The other reviews were very helpful because they pointed out that the dress is much longer than in the picture. This is why I ordered it. The length adds to the 1920's feel. Here two quick pictures with a royal blue midi dress underneath (Boohoo Philippa dress, it is perfect underneath). I ordered the Zelda dress is XS. My top part is size 6 and my bottom part size 8 (10 sometimes). I am 1.67 cm tall (about 5.5"). This Jade colour is gorgeous. I ordered it in black (at least I think I did) but it arrived in jade. I am really temped to keep the jade, so beautiful. it is darker than in the monitor and very rich. (sorry I don't seem to be able to upload the picture upright)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Signature Piece I purchased this as a sale item, so obtained significantly better value. No problems at all with the fit described by some others. I purchased the black version and have a black slip underneath or a scarlet one for a completely different look and effect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Second review I was considering to order another hand crochet dress, so I read some other women reviews. Somebody mentioned that that were holes, so I looked at the dress more carefully and I discovered running treats (2 holes) in it. I am very disappointed. My intuition about quality of this dress was again correct. I bought this dress a few days ago and put it on just once in front of the mirror. There is no way that I caused this by trying it on! I am not home and I do not have my crochet hook to fix it. It will be tricky to fix it but now I am scared that after first wearing it will fall apart as all my Peruvian Connection clothes did past 7 years. Very sad again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great dress Finally I received dress that I really like. I gave up on PC years ago, since quality drastically deteriorated while prices went up. My friend who knows me and my experience with PC well was making fun of me last week that I again ordered a dress (because everything that I got past 7+ years I either returned or it felt apart very quickly so it ended up in garbage). It seems like I finally got the dress that fits well and looks great. Still not sure about quality (have my suspicion that proves often right) but WILL KEEP IT because if worse comes to worse I will crotchet by myself similar one. I just needed a sample dress for my future projects and this was my main intention to order this dress in the first place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Studding in Jade This dress is stunning! Love, love, love the colour! My only caution or complaint would be the sleeves. I feel my arms are in proportion to my size but the arms on this dress are slightly snug. I chose to keep it anyway as I find crocheted pieces tend to give a bit as you wear them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really lovely This is a stunning dress, and I'm glad I bought it ( even though i think it's very expensive!). Decided to treat myself as I have a white crocheted PC dress which I love, and wanted a winter version. Two things : Firstly, it's much longer than it appears in the photo, falling mid-calf at the front ( and I'm 5'8"), which is not a problem and makes it nicer, but the photo is very deceptive. Secondly, there is no give in the bust area, so I was mortified that I had to buy a large, whereas I'm normally a small, so order a size up.

Recalling the fabulous flapper styles of the Roaring Twenties, our handcrocheted pima dress is a stunning pastiche of intricate lace stitches. Shaped through the torso, with ¾-sleeves and a flounced ruffle hem that dips to a fan in back. Underneath, the Black Jersey Slip Dress (sold separately) lines and shows off the exquisite stitchwork.
