Rated 4 out of 5 by from Eliana Alpaca Coat as a gift My Husband purchased this amazing coat for me for Valentine's Day. It is so soft and warm. The only thing I would have changed is the lengthening of the sleeves.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from warm and cozy Well, I love the coat, at first I thought the zipper wouldn't open at the bottom, I was packing it up to return it and tried it one more time, and it separated... Yay..One drawback, the zipper is for a left handed person. The toggle is on the Left side. A little awkward.. I ordered an XL, thought about returning it, but, would the Large be too tight for big sweaters underneath?? So , I am keeping it. After delivery, I was walking from my studio to our farmhouse and the coat kept me cozy in the 2 degree weather here in WI. The price for this coat seems a bit high.. Why? because ther is a definite lack of "flair" Yes it is cozy and warm, but I would like to see something unique for the price. Also, the lining is ---UGH---polyester.. beware for static ... Years ago they had a lining that was not flashy, but was static free. Please go back. We all wear woolens and they create horrid static cling with this lining. Buying some "Static Guard" I will keep the coat, but hoping they will come out with a coat that is STYLISH , warm and static free. This was my $1000.00 review Hope the coat lasts a lifetime..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coat. Delighted with this coat ! I normally have problems as I have broad shoulders and very long arms, but this fits well, even over a thick jumper. I usually wear shorter coats, so the two way zipper is brilliant when hopping in and out of the car. I love that the zipper comes right up to the neck, as I can never understand a warm winter coat being sold with fastenings that start half way down the chest or in some cases, no fastenings at all !! It is warm enough on a cold, windy, showery typical winter’s day, which is a rare find ! I love it, though I cannot understand why it is so very expensive when compared to other alpaca coats. Perhaps someone can enlighten me ?!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great style, no petites I love this coat for its style and quality of materials and craftsmanship. I find the lack of petite (and extended) sizes restrictive and unwelcoming of the many wonderful body types that exist.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Absolutely beautiful coat, but needs number sizes. Absolutely loved this coat, but tried 2 sizes and neither fit. One way too large and the other a little snug. For this quality and expense, it should come in all the number sizes for better fit.
