Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wished this had fit Peruvian Connection, Your coats are wonderful but they are made for 5 ft. 7 in. models. Can you please include some petites or at least normal proportioned coats for next year? I am 5' 4" and the coat's collar v ended at my waist instead of my chest. I would have had to taken it up 2' from the shoulders for it to be the right proportion. Thank you for your consideration!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sadly Returned This was an amazingly beautiful coat in style, quality and details. Even the buttons had a lovely scroll design on them. Unfortunately, it was too tight in the shoulders for me. I am tall and thin and ordered a 10 (the size I typically wear in coats to allow room for heavy winter clothes and still have mobility). I am a dress size 6 or 8. The coat fit me everywhere else but it was constricting through the shoulders. I don't usually have this problem as I am pretty evenly proportioned. So, sadly, I returned this coat and did not order the next size up because it would have been too big for me everywhere else. Sigh.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coat, Don't understand the negative reviews. I first saw this coat in the retail store. I then ordered it when I got home. The alpaca is soft, it has a fitted shape. I live in the Northeast and it is so warm I just wear normal layers underneath-no need for bulky sweaters underneath. Becuae of the V-neck a scarf is advisable and adds to the look of the coat. I chose a black alpaca scarf, so the look is streamlined. It is a long coat, I might get it hemmed but the length adds to the romance of the coat. It may not be an every day coat, you need to lift the hem when walking up or down stairs, as if wearing a long ankle skimming dress. The bodice is nicely fitted to accentuate the waist. And the sleeves are tapered nicely with button detail. Very rice looking, unusual and stylish. Perfect for a Black-tie event. I wear mine to church and have gotten numerous compliments. I am 5'6" and wear it with 4" heels. Perfect coat for tall ladies

Rated 1 out of 5 by from big disappointment The photograph makes this look like an elegant & beautiful coat. I could not have been more disappointed - the fabric was rough, and cut was boxy & unflattering. I sent it back and haave ordered the Decades Coat. I have had one since 1992 & know it is as beautiful as illustrated - and will last decades.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Picture Misleading I was disappointed in the coat when it first arrived and was ready to send it back then and there. From the picture I anticipated it to be more fitted at the waist and flare out with an A-Line style. However, it only appears that way in the photo due to the model's pose and is really a very straight cut coat. I hung the coat away for a week to think about it and did end up keeping it but will always be a bit disappointed in it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good coat, but not for Gandma It is a smart coat, but too long and the sleeves also could be shorter. When Winter clothes are underneath, the sleeves are too tight. It looks great on the model, but I don't still have a model after 52 years of marriage.(I am no prize either.)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Misses the Mark I received this coat, and was very much disappointed. The material is not nearly as soft as other PC baby alpaca coats that I have received in the past. In fact, the material is comparatively rough, and much more like wool than alpaca -- despite the fact that the combination of baby alpaca and wool, as advertised, seems comparable to one that I purchased a few years ago. One of the reasons I've loved alpaca is its softness and luster -- this coat doesn't have either. In addition, the buttons were plastic and cheap at that; in fact, they even were sewn on lopsided on the coat I received. To make matters worse, one button immediately fell off the very first time that I tried on the coat. Finally, the end of the sleeves are finished with a sewn-on added felt-like material that is different from the main fabric. I doubt this added material has any alpaca in it, but if it does, it's a new one on me. Sorry, but this coat misses the mark and must be returned. It's not what I anticipated, based on past experience, and not worth the price.
