Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stunning Blanket Coat The red color is a blue red, not a true red. The grey is a melange of grey tones which looks to be undyed alpaca. The white is actually a blend of oatmeal and cream, and it too looks undyed. The blanket coat is heavy, warm and cozy, but despite its weight, I don't find it windproof. I use my own grey sweater pin to close it at the top if I want to. The only downside is the pockets, they are bulky. The other colors in this style have the same pockets. I may try to compress them a bit with an iron. My experience with alpaca clothing is that it doesn't stretch out of shape as alpaca fibers have a stronger memory than wool.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful colors but bulky The colors are beautiful! Sadly I returned the coat because it was way too bulky; from the picture I had expected a more refined fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful While I haven't worn this yet.... It is stunning! I believe it requires a taller frame to carry this off. The workmanship and colors are excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous! I purchased this beautiful cardigan/coat, yesterday, and it arrived today! It is wonderful, the colours are stunning and red is my favourite colour. The fit is perfect, I am an UK 8, so purchased the XS/S size and it is just right. It is weighty and very warm and snuggly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very unique Last year I bought one of the monochrome blanket coats, and it was my go-to in all but the coldest weather here in Wisconsin. I decided to get the Nunavut iteration this time around because I love the pattern and colors in it—it reminds me of one of those classic Hudson Bay blanket coats. It’s very comfortable and attractive. My only quibble with the blanket coats is that it is too heavy to hand up—you have to fold it and place it on a shelf or drape it over something substantial so it doesn’t get stretched out. The one I bought last year developed a hole at the seam where the hood meets the body of the coat because I didn’t always follow this rule of thumb. Finally, as others have stated, these “blanket” coats are really heavy sweaters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So soft and warm! I love this sweater. Definitely less of a coat, but it's great for not windy cool days. The hood is a little funny fitting (too big to pull all the way forward, but has a pointy back if you don't), but I don't mind since it's soooooooo warm and soft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sweater Was concerned the sweater would be too lightweight and the red too bright. The moment I opened the box I knew I would love it. My colleagues all think it is 'gorgeous'.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Blanket sweater Ordered this item because I was looking for a fall coat and that is how it is described online and in the catalog. However I feel it is more of a very heavy sweater. I like it and think it is well made but the description as a coat is a bit overstated. All in all I’m keeping it because i do like the look.
