Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I expected I bought the Verbier turtleneck to try out Peruvian Connection's new turtleneck design. Here is my feedback: 1.) Drawbacks: The Verbier turtleneck was disappointing. It looked limp and did not add the extra warmth a traditional turtleneck does. Katherine Hepburn (and many other women) look to the turtleneck style to provide a classic and complimentary look. The Verbier turtleneck provided only a loose, "collar-like" look. 2.) Positives: Nice color and knit material.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Layering Piece I love the colors, cut and feel of this classic piece. However, I find the price unreasonable for a basic PC layering piece and I am uncertain how durable this will be. I bought two in the PC store in DC and didn't notice that one had a pulled thread in the back until I got it home. So that is going back. (I still liked it enough to buy a replacement online.) The colors are great. I bought the amber and charcoal. They go with many of my PC pieces from this season and seasons past. The weight is perfect - thin enough to wear under snug jackets, but not so thin as to be unforgiving. The cut is slightly loose at the waist, which I like. It is just loose enough to give confidence when wearing fitted jeans, but not so loose that it looks frumpy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Statement T-neck When comfort & style combine, then it's a keeper. The layering T-necks have their place, to be sure, but when you want a pulled together look, this amps a classic turtleneck up a notch. Raglan sleeves always get points in my book, & 24" is a versatile length, which works well with covering a skirt's waistband, or dressing down with jeans. There's room to breath, it's not clingy, & as this is Pima Cotton, the turtleneck part doesn't look like it's choking you. But it should be added, this is not the top to brave a blustery day, as it is not thick, so neither is it "bulky." Needing a top in the brown family, I ordered Amber, & it looks better than in the catalogue, or to put it another way, not your 'grandmother's' version of brown. I hope to order the other colors, as this T-neck hits the marks, & it would be nice to see more of this style in the future in rich greens & purples...
