Rated 5 out of 5 by from First time PC Customer. Love This Dress! I received this dress for Christmas. Decided I wanted the Leather Tack Belt to go with it and wore it with tights and boots to work this week. Very unique! Received numerous compliments! I did find it to be to low cut, but I just added a brown camisole underneath (which is common with most apparel these days). It worked great and just gave added warmth in the zero temps this week. I am 5'3 and 135 lbs, and found the Medium to be an accurate fit. The fabric is not strange at all.....very good pima cotton. I will definitely be a returning customer. BTW, excellent customer service.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not So Great I can understand the appeal this dress has. With all that Lycra, it is certainly form-fitting and flattering. The color is nice, with hints of purple and I like the pattern, but I really don't care for the material itself. One more thing: I appreciate the extra views that PC offers, however, it would be so helpful if these were truly ALTERNATIVE views. The declotee on this dress is not alarming, but --for my taste--it belongs on something other than an everyday dress, which i think this Moroccan frock is. Why hide the neckline behind the scarf in every picture?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from beautiful but an odd 'hand' to fabric What a strange dress! Beautiful design and colors I have come to expect from PC. I am a sample size -- don't ever need tailoring-- but this dress has an odd neckline (the scarf in image covers just how wide and low it is) and a very strange 'hand' to the fabric. It does indeed feel plasticized. Disappointed. I have a couple of dozen PC dresses and this is one of two I have ever sent back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I like it but.... It is a nice color, and I don't have a problem with the neckline at all, which could be adorned with a full necklace or scarf but the sizing is off. I typically wear a peruvian medium (8/10 5'4" 135 lbs) but this Med was too tight around the midsection to be flattering. I would of exchanged it but I have a fundamental problem with paying for return shipping when sizing is inconsistent. The material is nice and probably suitable til about early winter. I would of kept it if it had fit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from would not recommend I thought this dress would be a whole lot heavier for #1--it is very lightweight and thin, warmer weather material. I thought it would be more figure flattering for #2, but it is so ridiculously wide and low cut, that I would need to wear a cami under it and in doing so, you can see bra straps and then you no longer have the smooth lines underneath. Also fits really loose in hips and snug in tummy--not at all flattering in fit although color is gorgeous. I am returning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy To Wear This is a nice light weight dress that does not wrinkle and falls in a flattering way. I love my PC knits, but always have to worry about pulls. No worries with this fabric. The fabric is thin but hardy, and the colors are interesting and attractive. I enjoyed wearing a similar short -sleeve PC dress in blue last summer and was hoping for a long-sleeve version. This dress looks great with boots and a jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Kept Secret Don't let this purchase slip by you! At $85.00 it is a STEAL and if you don't buy it now you'll miss out big time! It is an extremely feminine dress! The scoop neck is wide but not low so it doesn't feel revealing. It is form fitting but doesn't show one's flaws--that is if you have any! The color is just as described...a rich blood red/dusty orange. The outfit is one you would see in an alley way in Morocco. It's simplicity makes it is an exquisite dress that stands out from all the others. Better move on this one PC fans!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Comfortable Dress I have never ordered from Peruvian Connection, but am very pleased with this dress. It is a lovely print and is very comfortable. The fabric is lighter than I expected and is slightly scratchy but the cut is very flattering and hides my menopot pretty well!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First ever order First order from PC. I do like this dress. Colors are super for me and match my red boots. Length is great. The large is slightly big, but for me, medium would be a bit tight. But I solved the problem. As I am not slim, I took a belt and instead of putting it at the waist, I moved it up to an empire style. Totally different look, but flattering on me. I like the neckline. I can wear it for work or social occasions.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay This dress is okay. Not stunning like a lot of PC dresses. The fabric is strange and stiff. I am not sure why, but I am a thin person and a lot of the PC tops and dresses with long sleeves have very tight sleeves, which I do not care for. Also, the neck is very open, as a lot of their things are, and I do not like that either. I am waiting for the scarf they show with it which has been on backorder forever. I won't wear it with the open neck the way it is. I kind of wish now I would have just sent it back. I have looked for another scarf to go with it to cover up the neck but can't find one. It does fit nice. I am 5'4", 120 lbs. It is very long, but I like long dresses.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dissaponitment I love Peruvian Connection in general. But this dress is a huge disappointment for me. No matter what the fabric label says, it feels like 100% synthetic fiber. The color is nice, the cut could be also flattering (my regular size would fit, I'm 5'11" tall,170 lbs, 36B, and size M would fit nicely...), but I'm sending it back because of the material.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Laurels for this One It was worth it to give another whirl, & reorder the Medium !! The first try was a Large, based upon the Salawas Pima Cotton Maxi Dress I ordered from the fabulous Fall Catalogue. In the Large size, that worked. Large for this Moroccan Tile Dress, swallowed me. Bear in mind, they are different in many ways, the similarity they share is being the Maxi length; fabrics are entirely different, Salawas more of a woven cotton & this, more shape-hugging while also stretchy with forgiving lycra. I am a size 10, & after exchanging to the Medium, I am pixilated & pleased. The print is gorgeous, the colors are alluring, the effect is ravishing. Pardon the drama, but this second try arrived just in time to get packed for this weekend's film festival.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It! One of my favorite dresses this summer was a short sleeve, blue PC one similar to this. After reading a good review of this dress, I went ahead and ordered it. The fit is exactly as I had hoped: figure hugging, but flattering, with enough stretch to glide over my imperfections. I ordered the Ariana cardigan in Cordovan (plum) and it works beautifully with the dress. With a scarf, boots, and the sweater, the ensemble is warm and cozy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing I was very much looking forward to this dress, but the fabric is unbelievably thin for a fall dress and not so great to the touch. I sent it back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the color and material Because I live in NC this dress in the jersey fabric is perfect for me. The heavier fabrics don't work in our warmer climate. This dress will go from fall to spring. The medium fits like a glove on my hourglass figure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous dress I pondered over this dress for a while as I wasn't too sure about the pattern but knew I could always send it back. I loved the beautiful rich colours as soon as I saw them in the flesh. It is quite a thin jersey material but hangs really nicely and produces a lovely silhouette. Delighted with this purchase and very pleased I did take the chance.
