Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really lovely After reading the first two reviews i decided to give the skirt a try and ordered it. Best decision ever! Its my new gem from peruvian connection. I Pair it with two layers either the rust or deep maroon under and a grey t shirt on top finishing with a dark grey sweater. The previous two reviews cover details which is why i went ahead and ordered this. Thank you ladies you really helped. One comment though, the skirt is really long. And after a couple of wears it did stretch so if you are between sizes i would size down. Love the saddle fit and flare cut. It has swing and is really soft with good weight to the fabric. And the pattern is wonderful in person. have to say this skirt is a gem and i would have missed out if not for the previous two reviews. In one word. Sophisticated. Btw. I am an xl size 5'8".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like the Lavanya Dress The Katya skirt is a replica of the bottom half of the Lavanya dress PC offered in an earlier catalogue --and which is still available. The material is heavier and thus sturdier than some of the weaves of more delicate skirts and thus less prone to snags. I like the saddle look--or whatever the proper name is for the structure of the sides of this skirt. It allows flare at the hem, but keeps the hip area trim. It's also something that makes the skirt memorable in a subtle way. What is NOT trim is the waist, which runs large. The skirt I received is a bit over 35 inches long (not 34). I would like to add my voice to those that request some shorter skirts. The colors are subdued--more so than on my monitor, but not dull--sort of blueish grey and clay. I have the XS (108/5'3")

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exquisite! This is a beautiful skirt with rich color and detailing. I am especially fond of folkloric prints and this works for me in every way. It is a medium weight knit skirt that will work in a variety of climates. I live in the Pacific Northwest and this will be my go to skirt for Autumn and Winter. I will pair this with my warm gray Frye booties or some charcoal colored suede booties depending on the weather.

In a folkloric pattern from a 19th century Tajik wedding veil, our pima jacquard skirt is engineered in panels of geometrics. In a palette of chambray, blush, indigo, limestone and chocolate, curved side gores create a dramatic silhouette.
