Rated 5 out of 5 by from A really beautiful skirt I was uncertain whether to buy this skirt because of the lurex thread in the pattern but I am so glad that I did after reading the positive reviews on the .com USA website. Everything is right about the design, pattern and fit. The colour is enhanced by the gold but it doesn't 'sparkle' unless you are in bright artificial light. You can certainly wear it during the day. I particularly like the darker toning band at the hem and the flare at the hem is just full enough without being exaggerated. AND, it is wonderful to own a skirt that is the right length - 32 inches. More of this length option, please.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Elegant Skirt I ordered this from the Chicago store, not knowing if I would like it in person. Well, I did. The gold is tasteful and the colors blend beautifully. It fit well in my usual Small (which means that the hips are not too form-fitting) and I love the A-line style (thank you PC, for hearing us ask for these). In the end, however, I decided to get another PC A-line skirt because I felt that the red color limited my wearing options. But it is a wonderful skirt and for those of you who dress up often, I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Day or evening skirt I have just received this skirt and am delighted. The fabric has the right amount of body to hold the graceful trumpet shape. I do not think the the gold thread running through the fabric is sufficiently prominent to prevent one from wearing it during the day. The length measures 34 inches on the L which is perfect for me at 5'8" .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All that glitters... not gold, but it's still very nice. You have to know that the glitter in this skirt is much greater than it may appear on your monitor. At least that's true in my case. Because of the glitter, I'd be reluctant to wear it during the day, but I look forward to wearing it in the evening. The fabric is on the heavy side, which I like and I like the length and the flare at the hem. Good for walking. Also, a pleasant surprise, the colors are more appealing than on the screen. The dominant colors are black and gold, with the purple and red tempering the effect. PC says the design is Siberian; it reminds me of Thai patterns. a repetitive pattern...not overwhelming, but contained. All in all, a very nice skirt. (I have the XS and am 5'3' and 109. Still wishing for somewhat smaller waists...)
