Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Dresss I purchased this dress directly from the NY store by phone. The salesperson was terrific and I rec'd the dress within a few days. It is very flattering with the empire waist and the design flow. It is of the quality I expect from PC. A size medium fit perfectly (5'9, 142#). Just a beautiful dress.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful dress Knit was a bit thinner than expected but it is a gorgeous dress. The colours are beautiful and the design is very flattering for a fuller figure. I get compliments every time I wear it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Unexpected As the previous reviewers have said, this is a very flattering dress, even for me--who, alas, must return it. From the front, the Champasak dress was becoming because of the colors, the short sleeves, the simplicity of the style with the elegant pattern. For me, the 53 inches meant I would always have to wear heels, but I would have been willing. The problem was the way the dress fits me in the back. While the bodice fits well in the front--loose but straight--in the back it is voluminous. Blouson. No other PC dress I have fits like this. I have the Shearwater dress that also has an empire waist, and it fits well. I took a closer look at the back view of this dress on the Web, and see that it SEEMS to be roomy on the model, too. I have to say that if the dress looked this good on me, I'd keep it, but the material folds and bunches on my back. What I wish is this: I wish that PC would offer this dress again--in TWO lengths, perhaps in a somewhat heavier knit, AND with darts or some design change that would make the dress fit like the others I have. I would NOT dissuade anyone from trying this dress because it is so pretty and may well fit .(I am 5'3"/108 and bought the XS.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Uniquely Beautiful This dress is both unique and beautiful. The colors were a little more muted than the picture, but I actually liked that better. The more brown color can be seen in the threaded background throughout the black, which is also nice and contributes to it's uniqueness. It is very comfortable and I'm excited to wear it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunnning! Champasak caught my eye when the fall 2016 catalog arrived. Exquisite! The textile pattern, fit, colors are perfection. The colors pictured both online and in the paper catalog are true to the dress. I ordered a size small and am 5'7" and 122 pounds. The dress is going with me in August and Sept to the UK and then on to Iceland and will be worn professionally, to dinners,, and perhaps with black suede booties when going to an art gallery opening in London.Supremely packable. The Adobe Navajo cardigan from a past season is a perfect match for the rosy color in the pattern. I plan to wear this dress on its own but also with the Navajo cardigan or a black short leather jacket. It looks amazing with jet faceted tiny beads that go to the waist, evoking believe it or not a 1920 dress!
