Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautifully made This is a high quality coat, although it's quite a snug fit. I had to size up, otherwise I could only wear it in T-shirt weather! It has a lovely brick-red lining, and quite a lot of brick-red overstitching, which is not really visible in the photos. It does have some small pockets, but they're rather more decorative than functional.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tight arms Beautiful coat but extremely tight in the arms. Didn't think I was a muscle builder. I tried the next size up but then the rest of the coat was too large.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from weirdly over-tailored sleeves I had to return this item, unfortunately! The coat was beautiful and I would have kept it, but for the over-tailoring on the sleeves, which were cut so snug that I literally could not bend my arms; no way could I have stuffed anything but a sleeveless shell underneath the coat, and that would sort of run afoul of the "Wharton-esque" layered look that the designer was envisioning. I have slender arms, by the way, so I have to believe other customers ran into this situation, which my seamstress could not have fixed. I understand that the streamlined fit was appropriate for this style, except those sleeves were oddly out of proportion with the rest of the garment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and Classy Beautiful, classic design. Thin wool, so it can be worn as a blazer or even a jacket in fall. Wool is soft and design is beautiful. It did differ from the picture in that mine had red stitching across the border of the leather and the pocket flaps. I wasn't sure I liked it, but it's grown on me. This is a piece I can wear forever - the design is classic and will not go out of style. Glad I bought it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Elegant Purchase The Edith Wharton coat more than lives up to the exacting standards of its namesake. This is an elegant coat, beautifully made. It fits close to the body; the fabric feels at once luxurious and practical. It's a joy to wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional This jacket has gorgeous tailoring. Plus, it is made of a finely knit, premium-quality fabric. Since I have long arms, I am thrilled that PC makes a jacket that fits me perfectly in all respects. Sleeves can be shortened by tailors at minimal cost, but typically cannot be sufficiently lengthened. Very slimming; very stunning; very flattering. Have received many compliments at home and in travels elsewhere.
