Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible The sweater is quite pretty, but pilled and pulled within one wearing. Who has a life so delicate that this could possibly be wore more than once? If you ever move your arms, this is not for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful sweater The lady recipient of this gift was super pleased. You have beautiful Peruvian Indian stuff that no one else seems to have.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from lovely, but not very hard wearing A lovely jumper; I would like to wear it all the time. But sadly it isn't up to that - starting to show wear on the elbows and under the arms after only half a dozen gentle outings. I'm still pleased with it, though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PERUVIAN ARTIFACTS ARE WONDERFUL I haven't worn it yet but know I'll love it. I spent time in Peru some years ago so have a soft spot in my heart for their Products. Do the artisans receive a good portion of the cost? Hope so! Sincerely, Barb Brechin

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it. If you live in a cold house, this is for you. Warm, soft, a "big" jumper that still gives you some shape.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Snowflakes This sweater looks good, but it sheds bits of alpaca fluff all over the place. My car seat, sofa, coat, anyone who sits next to me gets covered in snowflakes. :-(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Scratchy for alpaca For the positive - I like the general look and fit of this sweater. I am 5' 8", 125 lbs, bought a small and the sweater fits like it does in the photo. This is where the criticism comes in... The sweater is too thin to wear on its own, at least outdoors in really cold weather, because the knit is thin and light. Probably at least a camisole would be required for warmth for just general wearing. Another thing for me is the itch. I have never been bothered by any kind of material, and certainly not alpaca, so I thought this sweater had a bit of mohair in it. According to the label it's 100% alpaca. I tried it on while wearing black pants and there was a lot of fluff left behind on the black. Maybe with jeans it wouldn't be quite as obvious. I could probably layer a silk t-shirt underneath this sweater, but then the neck would still be scratchy, so I will be returning it. Too bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Soft This sweater is so soft and comfortable. I usually wear a camisole under it, though as it's not real thick. The only "complaint" I suppose is that you tend to leave fuzzies everywhere you go from this sweater.
