Rated 5 out of 5 by from Same snug fit on top Again, disappointed with how snug it is on to while flowing at the waist and hips. Too bad, so pretty and comfortable. Will be returning.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from interesting dress I am petite and ordered an XS--my usual size--fits fine. It is lightweight and comfortable. Neckline is not too low. I was disappointed to discover that there is no hem--it is a raw edge although the sleeves are hemed and the neckline is finished. I will need to hem this in order to feel that the dress is "finished". The length is fine so all it needs is a fairly narrow hem. I decided to keep the dress as I know how to sew, but could not recommend it to someone who might not be able or willing to finish the bottom edge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from lovely This dress fit nicely and will be fun to accessorize The only thing I might change would be to have a bit more room in the arms but since it is stretch fabric it will loosen up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight, elegant flowing dress I have purchased this in both colours as it was elegant and comfortable. I wear both with a belt (the obi sashes on this site are perfect). It wears well with or without a slip and looks good with evening shoes or heavy boots. I am XS in P.C. sizing and my only criticism is that the necklines in this size are generally cut too wide for a smaller person. I will have to wear a cami, tank or T shirt under this. I haven't experienced the problem with tights that another reviewer has - the dresses have been fine. Anyway, love them!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Worth the Money I was under the impression that this dress would balloon at the bottom. It doesn't . The color isn't as pretty as what the model is wearing and the material is paper thin. I would expect for the price it would be a great dress for a party I will be going to. In the future I will never buy another dress from your company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Arista Dress Perfect weight! Love the drape of hemline and the seams on each side hit just-right to flatter the body. Easy to accessorize for dressier or more casual. Affordable. Love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Elegant comfort I would have given 4 stars but for the fact the fabric is rather thin, otherwise this is a delightful little dress , quirky and flattering , hits me below knee level ( i am 5.6" , the color is a saturated deep plum and feels very lightweight to wear , great for early Fall .

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dissapointed It has been several years since I ordered anything from this catalog. I have always loved the quality, look and the styles offered and when I saw this dress at this price I thought it was a steal! Well, now I know why! The quality of the merchandise since the last time I ordered apparently has gone way down, hence the "reasonable" price. The dress was put together well enough but the fabric was so flimsy and felt so cheap that I just couldn't imagine wearing it. I returned it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabric cool enough for summer I love this dress. I'm 5'5", weigh 122 lbs and the extra small was a perfect fit! The fabric is very soft and light so it's great even for Texas summers. Just push the sleeves up, throw on a pair of sandals and you're good to go!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for crossdressers This dress is very forgiving in terms of a less than optimal body shape. It is so elegant and stylish that I gladly forgive the indeed rather thin fabric. As a cross-dresser I have limited options for finding suitable and elegant dresses, so I am buying my second one, this time in black. For me it is certainly worth its price. Thanks Peruvian for helping me out once again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These dresses are FABULOUS! BEST PURCHASE!!! I have two long sleeved and two sleeveless versions. They have traveled the world -- they are elegant, comfortable, NEVER ever wrinkle and are SO flattering! I do not know what people are complaining about. If you think the material too thin, put a poncho over it! They are easy to dress up; great on a cruise ship. Also the sleeveless version is great with sandals (that one went to Egypt with me).Hint - buy one size smaller so that it hugs your body --much more flattering!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lovely This really is a lovely dress, with great lines, fit and feel. However, as others have pointed out, the fabric is a disappointment as I prefer a more substantial weight in a long sleeve dress.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fabric is a disappointment Sadly, the fabric here is a disappointment. It's the wrong weight for a slim, long-sleeved, bell-skirted, fall/winter dress. It's an ephemeral material that ruffles and gathers almost of its own accord, which would make it great for one of those elaborate Anthropologie inventions with layers of ruffles, ties and florettes. But it's not substantial enough to hold the subtle shape of this silhouette-defining dress, and not warm enough to suit long sleeves. I hope that Peruvian Connection hasn't succumbed to the marketing ploy of trying to make us think that flimsy, cost-saving fabric is a virtue. My closet is full of evidence that they're capable of better. The design of this dress is fabulous, and I would have loved to see it in a fall/winter fabric. The subtle princess seaming starts a little high, more like an empire than a wasp waist, which makes it forgiving in the middle without looking like an obvious I-need-a-dress-that's-forgiving-in-the-middle kind of dress. And the mid-shin length is a Godsend in this era (should I say error) of fabric-skimping minis and tunics that are at best only for teens and twenty somethings but in truth make even them look like a child's, Barbie-inspired idea of well dressed. This dress' contour is elegant enough to stand alone and also goes well under a pullover sweater or a jacket of any length from bolero to below-the-knee. The best feature is that it allows the wearer the look of a defined waist without the discomfort of a waistband. Which is why I couldn't resist keeping it in spite of the fabric. And now regret it, because it'll have to be worn with a substantial slip or under-dress to stay warm and keep its shape. Which, at this price, is unacceptable. Peruvian Connection, please make more dresses like this, but ditch the summer-weight fabric.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Returned So disappointed! The fabric is tissue-weight thin and insubstantial, not of good quality. And while the dress design is very interesting, the raw edged seams are too raw in places...as in somewhat shabby construction. I've given up on modal fabric. Will not again purchase anything made with modal. Immediately returned...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Autumn dress? Fabric too flimsy even for summer Sadly this dress, which has a nice cut and colour, is in such flimsy fabric that it does not have a decent "hang" - from the hips down it droops rather than swinging and if you wear tights (which you would certainly need if wearing this, unless you were in a hot climate) it clings to the tights. Sent it straight back. This is very disappointing as I have always relied on Peruvian Connection for quality, but this was certainly not good quaity. Fabric ok for flimsy summer shirt/top only.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Buy Relax , enjoy and have some fun. Really is comfortable and able to style many ways. Husband was surprised how well this dress looks. This dress may turn out to be one of my very best purchases. I also highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this dress Love this dress! It is so soft, light & absolutely comfortable. It is very flattering & the style is so versatile - looks great with a waist belt, hip belt or just as is. I am normally a size 8 top and size 10 bottom - the Medium is a perfect fit. Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing value for money When I first Received this dress I was disappointed I thought it would look awful. However when I tried it on it looks fantastic the cut of it is amazing. I buy lots of clothes from Peruvian they are all great but this shocked me at how nice it looked.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Versatile Dress This dress is very versatile. It can be worn with a belt, scarf, or necklace to create different looks. It is very thin, which works for me in AZ. Someone in colder weather may need to layer with it. It also has rough edges on the stitching. This is fine for me, but I can see others not liking it. The fit seems like it would be flattering for most people.
