Prime Pick: A Floaty Skirt Adds a Touch of Feminine to Fall

Longer skirts, also referred to as midi and maxi skirts, are on-trend for 2019. Peruvian Connection has many stylish skirts that women of our group will look fantastic wearing. Longer skirts are flattering to any figure type, they are feminine (especially when it’s a floaty skirt), yet at the same time can also have a rugged outdoorsy appeal. Bonus: You can wear them during the daytime or in the evening.

This Giselle Skirt from the Peruvian Connection line is made of gossamer nylon netting. While its sheerness floats whimsically, the slip underneath provides the perfect amount of coverage. The elastic waistline and full skirt will complement many figures types. The fabric is very soft, and the floaty skirt is extremely lightweight. It is also available in six different colors.

Here I’m wearing the cinnamon color which is a beautiful rich fall color.

“My personal style tip? For an updated look, wear the vibrant colors of the current season. It’ll keep your look fresh and current.”

I love the brown tone color of this floaty skirt and would pair it with sweaters, and tops, in shades crimson, saffron, olive, and even tangerine for fall. (As you can see their model did). Otherwise ivory and basic black work very well.

Here I styled this skirt two different ways. In the first picture, I’m wearing an embellished lace top and laced up suede sandals for warmer fall days. As the weather gets cooler, I’ll pair my skirt with a black turtleneck, belt, and leopard print suede boots.

Another way to wear this skirt is to pair it with a tee shirt, jean jacket, and a pair of western styled booties. Want another option? Pair this cinnamon colored skirt with an oversized belted denim shirt. Or throw on a structured blazer over a simple shirt to soften the look. Having several ways to style this Giselle floaty skirt makes it a worthwhile investment.

Spice up your fall wardrobe with at least one eye-catching piece of clothing for a youthful modernistic look. This Peruvian Giselle Skirt floated its way into my wardrobe for fall and I plan on keeping it in rotation.
