o purchase necessary. This Drawing is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older, unless specifically prohibited by law. Peruvian Connection officers, directors, employees and their immediate family members are not eligible. Immediate family includes only spouses, parents and children.
Entries must be received by 11:59 pm on August 31, 2008. Each email address submitted must be valid and remain valid through the time the winner(s) are selected. A confirmation email will be sent to each entrant at the email address submitted to verify the validity of the entrant’s email address.
Limit one entry per valid email address. Mailed entries will be accepted, but each mailed entry must contain a valid email address.
Incomplete entries and entries not complying with all rules are subject to disqualification. Peruvian Connection and its employees are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete or misdirected entries or entries not received within the required timeframe.
REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES
Each person who enters this Drawing represents and warrants to Peruvian Connection the following: (i) The email address submitted by the entrant is the entrant’s own individual email address; and (ii) the email address submitted does not and will not violate any applicable laws or give rise to civil or criminal liability under applicable law. Any submission deemed inappropriate by Peruvian Connection in any manner will be automatically disqualified. Third-party entries will not be accepted.
WINNER SELECTION
Winners will be selected via a random drawing by a judge selected by Peruvian Connection. The judge will draw to select one (1) Grand Prize Winner, One (1) Second Prize Winner and One (1) Third Prize Winner. The judge’s decisions are final in all matters relating to this drawing. Limit one (1) prize per winner.
Winners will be notified approximately three (3) weeks after the drawing deadline by email, using the email address submitted on the entry form. Along with a winner notification, winners will be sent a statement of eligibility and release form. Winner must execute, without making changes, and return this release for receipt by Peruvian Connection within seven (7) days of the date of the winner notification letter. The following will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner: (1) Failure to execute and return the form within fourteen (14) days; (2) failure to respond to notification attempts; or (3) return of any prize notification as undeliverable.
PRIZES
One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive one (1) $1,000 Gift Card for use at Peruvian Connection’s Washington, DC store, 3 days/2 nights’ accommodations and ground transit between hotel and train, airport, or bus station. One (1) Second Prize winner will receive one (1) $250 Peruvian Connection gift card. One (1) Third Prize Winners will each receive one (1) $100 Peruvian Connection gift card. All gift cards awarded must be applied toward future purchases. Gift cards are redeemable at Peruvian Connection’s retail stores, or the gift card amount can be applied towards orders placed through Peruvian Connection’s website or catalog. No transfer or substitution for the prize will be permitted. Awarded prizes are not redeemable for cash. All terms & conditions related to gift cards will apply. Limit one (1) prize per person.
All federal, state and local taxes, and any other costs not specifically stated within these Official Rules, are the sole responsibility of the winners.
ADDITIONAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Drawing winner agrees to allow Peruvian Connection to use his or her name in promotional materials related to this drawing without any further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
By entering this drawing, entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules and any decision Peruvian Connection makes regarding this promotion. Peruvian Connection reserves the right to disqualify from the drawing, and to prosecute to the fullest extent permitted by law, any entrant or winner who, in Peruvian Connection's reasonable suspicion, tampers with its website, the entry process, violates these Official Rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive matter.
Drawing is governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, USA.
By entering, entrant agrees to: (1) be bound by these Official Rules; and (2) release Peruvian Connection from any and all liability, losses or damages of any kind arising out of his or her participation in this drawing and with respect to his or her acceptance of the prizes.
