Thank you so much for your participation in our recent Website Photo Contest. It is amazing and heart warming to see the photos and to read the many stories and through them to meet so many of our loyal Peruvian Connection fans. In an age where drive-through service and emails have become the norm, it was such a pleasure to slow down and actually 'meet' the people we design our collections for. It's such an inspiration to see PC designs from our customers' perspectives - how they interpret them and have incorporated them into their lives. Your photos and stories have provided us with fresh insight and have given us ideas for new designs and silhouettes.

Once again, thank you for participating in our contest and for sharing your enthusiasm and creativity. It was a gift that will be treasured by all of us at PC.

PHOTO ELIGIBILITY | back to top

This Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older, unless specifically prohibited by law. Peruvian Connection officers, directors, employees and their immediate family members are not eligible. Immediate family includes only spouses, parents and children.

All photos must be in color, and the Contestant must be wearing at least one (1) item of Peruvian Connection apparel. All persons shown in photograph must be 18 years of age or older.

Entries may be color prints or digital images. Black and white images are not eligible. Please read the specific guidelines for submitting prints and digital images.

Photographic entries must be the original creative photographic work and/or property of the contestant and may not contain copyrighted materials or any other materials that may be restricted, prohibited, or outlawed by federal, state or local laws.

All photos must be appropriate for posting on Peruvian Connection's public website. Photographs must not be offensive and must not defame or invade upon the publicity rights or privacy of any person or otherwise infringe upon any person or entity's personal or proprietary rights. Obscene, provocative or otherwise questionable content will not be considered. Peruvian Connection, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify and/or destroy any photographic entry if the entry contains illegal, indecent, pornographic, sexually explicit content or otherwise offensive material, or if such photographic entry contains material whose content is deemed to be unsuitable for public viewing or posting via the Internet.

Incomplete entries and entries not complying with all rules are subject to disqualification. Peruvian Connection and its employees are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries or entries not received within the required timeframe. No correspondence regarding entries will be acknowledged or entered into with Contestants. All photographic entries and their content become the property of Peruvian Connection and will not be returned.

ASSIGNMENT | back to top

By entering this contest, each Contestant unconditionally assigns and transfers to Peruvian Connection all rights, title and interest in and to the photograph, including, without limitation, the copyright therein. Peruvian Connection shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to edit, composite, morph, scan, duplicate or alter the entry submission for any purpose which Peruvian Connection deems necessary or desirable. Neither Contestants nor winners shall be entitled to receive any compensation or credit for use of entries, other than that disclosed in these Official Rules.

REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES | back to top

Each person who enters this Contest represents and warrants to Peruvian Connection the following: (i) The photograph is the Contestant's own original, previously unpublished, and previously unproduced work; (ii) As of the date of submission, the photograph is not the subject of any actual or threatened litigation or claim; (iii) The photograph neither infringes upon nor violates the intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights of any other person or entity; (iv) The photograph does not and will not violate any applicable laws, and is not and will not be defamatory, libelous, pornographic, obscene, harmful, threatening, profane, abusive, harassing, tortious, vulgar, or give rise to civil or criminal liability under applicable law. Any submission deemed inappropriate by Peruvian Connection in any manner will automatically be disqualified and taken off the site.

JUDGING AND WINNER SELECTION | back to top

Judges will select one (1) Grand Prize Winner, One (1) Second Prize Winner and Three (3) Third Prize Winners. Judging will be performed by a random panel of judges selected by Peruvian Connection whose decisions are final in all matters relating to this contest. Limit one prize per winner.

Winners will be notified approximately two (2) to three (3) weeks after the contest deadline by phone and email, using the information on the entry form. Along with a winner notification, winners will be sent a statement of eligibility and release form. Winner must execute, without making changes, and return this release for receipt by Peruvian Connection within seven (7) days of the date of the winner notification letter. The following will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner: (1) Failure to execute and return the form within seven (7) days; (2) failure to respond to notification attempts; or (3) return of any prize notification as undeliverable.

PRIZES | back to top

One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive one (1) $1,000 Peruvian Connection gift card. One (1) Second Prize winner will receive one (1) $200 Peruvian Connection gift card. Three (3) Third Prize Winners will each receive one (1) $100 Peruvian Connection gift card. All gift cards awarded must be applied toward future purchases. No transfer or substitution for the prize will be permitted. The awarded prize is not redeemable for cash. All terms & conditions related to gift cards will apply. Limit one (1) prize per person.

If fewer than ten (10) eligible photographs are entered in the contest, Peruvian Connection may choose to name only a Grand Prize Winner.

All federal, state and local taxes, and any other costs not specifically stated within these Official Rules, are the sole responsibility of the winners.

ADDITIONAL TERMS & CONDITIONS | back to top

Contest winner agrees to allow Peruvian Connection to use his or her name in promotional materials related to this contest without any further compensation, except where prohibited by law.

By entering this contest, contestant agrees to abide by these Official Rules and any decision Peruvian Connection makes regarding this promotion. Peruvian Connection reserves the right to disqualify from the contest, and to prosecute to the fullest extent permitted by law, any participant or winner who, in Peruvian Connection's reasonable suspicion, tampers with its website, the entry process, violates these Official Rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive matter.

Contest is governed by the laws of the State of Kansas.

By entering, contestant agrees to: (1) be bound by these Official Rules; and (2) release Peruvian Connection from any and all liability, losses or damages of any kind arising out of his or her participation in this contest and with respect to his or her acceptance of the prizes.
